Christmas Mantel 2011

Hello all!  I hope your week is going well!

It is time to show you how I decorated my mantel. As I mentioned before when I styled my fall mantel, I like to keep it simple due to the floating shelves surrounding it and the flat screen above it.

Here it is.  Be prepared for a lot of pictures.  Some were taken in the evening, the others in the afternoon.

White candles.  Fresh greens.  Red berries.

That's it.

But I love it!

***
I will be giving a Christmas "house tour" soon.
***

I managed to wrangle a small window of time to vacuum today.  There is one spot at the bottom of my stairs that I couldn't get to...

See that small area of sunshine coming through the front door?

This is Scout's go-to place.

And he wouldn't budge.

(Still trying to get that "action shot" of him!)

Oh, and don't let that sunshine fool you.  It was still 23 degrees out.

Cold, crisp and beautiful.
