Happy Wednesday!
It is good to be back in action. What a whirlwind of a New Year. Anyway, I had planned on posting yesterday but had a few technical glitches that are now resolved.
So, let’s get started. Here are some handmade items that I wanted to show you. Sorry, no tutorials, I think you can tutorialize in your creative minds
Consider this some Pin-spiration for all of you DIY board pinners out there!
And…they were all done for less than $25.
All of these gifts were made by family members who participate in a DIY gift exchange at Christmas. While the kids do it in the traditional fashion, us adults have our own fun trading gifts similar to a white elephant exchange format.
Keeping in mind that DIY’ing is not an ingrained skill in everybody, I’d say I have a pretty talented family who likes to take on a challenge.
Have a great day!

Turning lifetime passion into livelihood. It's about time! I'm Shari. I am a 40-something wife, mother, corporate professional turned design stylist, avid sports fan, and usually exhausted 24/7 keeping up with it all. I love my family, my home, my work...and the chaos that comes with it. I also happen to adore my beagle, Scout.

those are all awesome! the deer and the herb garden are my faves!
do you have a link or can you shed some light on how you did the herb garden. i want to make one for my brother for his birthday. it's not until august, so you have time.

I'd say you have a VERY creative family. I like to imagine what mine would do… Love the deer head, and will seriously have to make some candles for next year! Deb
The concrete coasters are brilliant. Who came up with that idea?
I especially like the candles in the canning jars. They are so useful and versatile! Would love to know how you do the wood wick?
Wow, I would so love for my family to do this but sadly, I'm one of the only ones who likes DIY/crafts. These are all so cute. I would also love the tutorial on the herb garden!

Loved everyone of these ideas. THe message in a bottle is super cute. Thanks for sharing.
Love the things you come up with. I'm not the most artistic gal in the world, and your projects are things I can actually do without becoming frustrated at my lack of talent. Your cute stuff can make me look talented!
