Furniture Debut: Sandbar

Happy Monday!

Do you all think the weekend went by too fast?  I certainly do. I had a list a mile long that I barely put a dent into.  My list included a lot of painting but the snow on Saturday and the sun yesterday were both a distraction.

The good news is though, I do have a furniture debut for you.

I selected large wooden knobs and stained them, and the inside edge of the cabinet doors with  red cherry to match the inside of of the cabinet and exposed areas of the backboard.

This comes with sliding glass doors as well but it is difficult to get good pictures without a glare.  The new owner may choose to not even use them anyway.

Men are afraid to rock the boat in which they hope to drift safely through life’s currents, when, actually, the boat is stuck on a sandbar. They would be better off to rock the boat and try to shake it loose.      -Thomas S. Szasz
