Just Because Potpourri

Hey guys!

The teacher is out today, so we are going to have free-time.

Ohhh…remember hearing that in school when you were little and not being able to contain your excitement?

Do you?

Good.  ‘Cause this isn’t like that.

Some things just can’t be recreated.

However, today’s post is just for fun (but one would hope that all posts are fun.) So here we go…

1)  I want to thank those of you who took the time to complete my survey yesterday.  I really appreciate it!

2)  My son has been bringing me love notes home from school each day this week.

There is nothing better than this!

3)  I found a few things that I think are pretty great.

From 1920.
Love the mint green.

Water bottle from 1931.

4)  Do you freeze your nuts?  If not, you should!

These are roasted filberts from our orchard.
Fresh nuts will last about 8 – 10 months in the freezer.
If you do not keep nuts in a cool place (freezer preferred) they will go rancid.

5)  Rainier is a Top 12 Finalist at Whisperwood Cottage.  They are having a First Project Of The Year party with the chance to win a feature in Cottages and Bungalows magazine.  Woo hoo!

6)  Finally, my quote of the week:

VIA

OK.  Free time is over.  Now back to work.

Be inspired,
