Good morning,
While we can still see snow in the mountains around us, we can finally see our grass and orchard again which motivated me to go ahead and get our porch ready to welcome guests and welcome spring.
Yesterday, I showed you my doormat so today is the whole she-bang.
I found this basket at Pottery Barn late last summer and usually use it inside the house. Today however, it is on my door serving as host to dried basil bundles and some cheery cherry blossoms.
Scout decided he needed to come out and help me take some pictures. I snapped the shot below just as he was enjoying the breeze.
Reminds me of Charlie Brown’s beagle.
These primroses have the perfect color palette to brighten things up.
A simple side-dish of a DIY wire basket and some rocks – with a couple of my stamped rocks tossed in.
The wine barrels are from a local vineyard.
My goal was to put together a simple porch with a simple statement:

Under The Table And Dreaming

Turning lifetime passion into livelihood. It's about time! I'm Shari. I am a 40-something wife, mother, corporate professional turned design stylist, avid sports fan, and usually exhausted 24/7 keeping up with it all. I love my family, my home, my work...and the chaos that comes with it. I also happen to adore my beagle, Scout.

Love the mix of primrose colours! So sweet!
Baskets are so welcoming…and your's is a beauty! I love the dried green bundles and the touch of blossoms! Your frond door is a very pretty and welcoming place! So nice to stop by!
Yvonne

I would say you successfully met your goal, Shari. Your porch is quite welcoming. And Scout greeting each guest would be a nice touch.

I just love your door! I bet it looks gorgeous from the inside, too. Thanks for linking up to Remodelaholic!
Shari,
The porch is lovely. And Scout cracks me up. My beagle Ernie runs away from me every time I pick up the camera! Or he purposely hides his face from me …
