DIY: Easy AUTUMN Décor Blocks

Good morning,

I have a quick and easy DIY for you to usher in the first day of fall this weekend.

These letter blocks are very simple, fast and fun.

You can buy wood blocks from the craft store, or cut your own from a 4×4 (just be sure to sand really well.)

The wood letters can also be purchased from any craft store or online.  The key is finding the right size to fit your blocks.

I did a single coat of dark walnut stain on the blocks …

…and a single coat of golden pecan on the letters.

The letters are attached with a couple of quick shots of the nail gun.

If you don’t have a nail gun, wood glue will work as well.

These will be making their way to their permanent home over the weekend.  I’ll show you where next week.  Can you guess?

Wood Letter Blocks

Tomorrow I will be doing a DIY Rewind to look back at one of my most popular posts – and a fun one – to get ready to submit toWhisperwood Cottage’s  Organizing Solutions Talent Scouting Contest.   Be sure to stop by!

Have a great day!

Be inspired,
