Vintage Eye Candy? Indulge Yourself.

Good morning!

As you know, I have some shop space at Indulge! Antiques, Wine & Food.  Well, a few weeks ago, one of the owners, Montana, approached me and asked if I’d be interested in partnering on a new space within the store.  A space that is over 1200 square feet to be turned into a vintage showroom.   Four of us, combining our furniture, décor and more to create a special shopping experience.  My regular space is just me, my furniture and some décor accents.  This space is a collective display by four people that showcases a farmhouse style with a lot of twists such as unique primitives, hops, and barrels,  Oh, and one very large equine.

And it opened for business today.

I’ll show you around, and be sure to keep words to a minimum so you can focus Smile

The hops are drying and ready to be displayed in our homes for the season.  Wouldn’t they be beautiful strewn down the middle of a dining room table as part of a grand tablescape for Thanksgiving?

Or across a mantel?

Or outside draped above a front door?

I love this deconstructed chair.  Usually I’m not a big fan of this style, but there is something about this one that I found.  I knew when I found it that I wasn’t going to touch it.

{sigh}  Boxes, crates, trunks…to me, they are like shoes. You can never have too many in your home.

Remember the other day when I gave you a sneak peek of what I’ve been working on?  Well here is where the barrels were heading.

I have eight in there, all with the most common last name monogram (courtesy of Google) ready to grace someone’s home, porch, or ?

‘Tis the season…

This was a simple watering can that I brought to life with an ampersand and a few paint splatters.

You enter through the gate, but first…

…you are greeted by this incredible piece of art, all of which is mostly leather.

Don’t you think it is a beautiful space? I’m really excited to be a part of it!

I was only able to show you about half of the pictures to keep the post at a reasonable length.  I’ll show you Part II in a couple of days.  If you are in the area, please stop by!  The address is listed in my sidebar and under my SHOP button.  I’m excited to see how this space evolves.

Be inspired,
