Halloween Pasta Turned BLT Salad

Good morning.  I hope that all of you on the east coast made it through the night safe and sound, and with as little damage as possible.  My thoughts are with you all.  What a crazy storm. 

I rarely do recipe posts simply because that is not my focus – and certainly not part of my business, but I love to cook so…

…why not?

AND, this got me the cool mom award.

Yep.  That’s right.

COOL MOM.

First, take a look at this cute pasta I picked up from Harry & David’s.

I will admit, this recipe certainly isn’t rocket science – so please don’t consider it a true representation of my cooking skills!

{Just need to toss that one out there.}

Cook your pasta per package instructions and rinse with cold water.

Then add the following ingredients:

5 tomatoes, diced

7 green onion stalks, chopped

About 2 cups crumbled bacon (more or less depending on preference)

Finally, combine 1 cup mayo, 2 TBSP sugar and a few shakes of hot sauce for your dressing and mix well.

Garnish with some avocado, shredded cheddar, black pepper and toasted sourdough bread and you have yourself an easy meal.

The Halloween pasta shapes make it that much better, of course!
