How To Bring Some Fun To Your Table With Thanksgiving Trivia!

Good morning!

It is day three of my simple Thanksgiving ideas. So far this week,  I’ve shown you a way to repurpose a box into a cupcake carrier and how to create cute butter cut-outs to incorporate into your dinner.

Today, it is about fun and games.

As in “conversation starters”

As in “turkey trash talking”

All from Thanksgiving trivia.

Sure, you can simply just quiz each other from memory, or with game cards…

…but why do ordinary when you can “style your trivia?”

I came up with about 30 different trivia questions that included kid-friendly questions too.  (Can’t forget the kiddos!)

I chose to print them out on Kraft paper, but you can dress it up with any paper of your choice.

I printed the questions on one side, then flipped it over, put it back in the printer and printed the answers out on the backside.

One side has the question….

The other side has the answer…

(No…the answer you see does not refer to the wishbone offense with regard to the football question shown above.

These are two different  “rings.”  LOL.)

Just wrap them around and secure them with tape.

Simple as that.

If you are serving buffet style, you can just load them up in a basket or tray…

Or if you want to forego the napkins altogether, how about slipping one in a drink?

So to speak of course.

When everyone has dished up, let the games begin!

I have mine stacked, tied and hidden in a secret location in order to avoid trivia espionage by my dinner attendees.

I’d share the questions and answers with you, but I can’t let those I’m cooking for get a sneak peek.

That would be bad for business – after all, there are a bunch of cheaters in my family!  YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!

However, if you shoot me an email, I’m more than happy to send the list to you Smile

Be inspired,

  2. Excellent….. ok, so we have buffet style because there are over 30 people for Thanksgiving, but why couldn’t I make some trivia and put it around the house in random spots?

  8. I am so glad I came across your post vias the link party at Under The Table and Dreaming. I was trying to decide what to use for napkin rings for our Thanksgiving table and I was trying to decide if I had time to make a set of Table Topics cards for Thanksgiving day. You just solved the problem. Now all I have to do is type out the Table Topics questions and put one on each person’s napkin.
