So….have you recovered?
Still eating those leftovers?
Any Black Friday success?
We are winding things down here. We will be taking Eryn to the airport later today to head back to college – but she’ll be back in a few weeks for Christmas break. Everyone else is “doing their thing” and I am getting ready to pull Christmas stuff out and start deciding what I’m going to do around here.
And we can now officially watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music.
Before we dive into Christmas though, let’s look back at the week.

Monday:
I shared two beverage recipes for the holiday season. A traditional Bloody Mary and a customized mocktail for everyone of all ages.
Tuesday:
These sugared cranberries are beautiful – and delicious as well – and a perfect garnish for your holiday dishes. Thanksgiving may be over, but these are perfect for Christmas as well.
Wednesday:
The Fighting Sullivans is a must-see movie for all. It is an important part of history and a reminder to be thankful for what we have. It is a movie I started watching with my dad when I was young and it has been a Thanksgiving tradition for many years.
Friday:
Yesterday was all about Christmas trees. Tips on what kind of tree to choose, how to keep it healthy and even a DIY flocking tutorial if faux snow is the way you want to go.
FAST FORWARD:
I have some DIY Christmas ornaments to show you, a chain, and hopefully, a little jingle.
I hope to see you back. Remember, I’m posting everyday through the holiday season!
Deep breath! This is going to be a fun Christmas season

Turning lifetime passion into livelihood. It's about time! I'm Shari. I am a 40-something wife, mother, corporate professional turned design stylist, avid sports fan, and usually exhausted 24/7 keeping up with it all. I love my family, my home, my work...and the chaos that comes with it. I also happen to adore my beagle, Scout.

I am recovering too. No shopping for me this weekend I have to get the house in shape.

I’ve never heard of that movie. Did you know they were from Waterloo, Iowa? Well, I guess since you’ve watched the movie for years, I’m sure you do. There’s a Five Sullivan Brother’s Museum too. I should probably go.
