Good morning,
I was brainstorming a while back about some fun holiday tree décor and that is when I came up with Christmas In-A-Word ornaments and my version of the Melted Snowman ornament.
I also created this…
… a chain link garland using a wine bottle and rope.
I used natural fiber rope so that my knotting would stay in tact. Nylon rope is too smooth.
To start, I tied off the end.
I then tied it around the wine bottle…
…making my knot very secure.
Then, I repeated the steps…
…until I had a garland that was the desired length.
I finished it off with metallic silver spray paint …
…and on the tree it went.
Be inspired,

Turning lifetime passion into livelihood. It's about time! I'm Shari. I am a 40-something wife, mother, corporate professional turned design stylist, avid sports fan, and usually exhausted 24/7 keeping up with it all. I love my family, my home, my work...and the chaos that comes with it. I also happen to adore my beagle, Scout.

Shari…you are the “Queen of Clever” …. I “curtsy” to you … That is a fantastic idea … the garland looks amazing!!
