Good morning!
We are just going to get down to business today. We all have a lot to do.
Decorating. Shopping. Baking. Parties.
It is all happening!
So let’s do a quick review of what happened at Turnstyle Vogue this past week!
SUNDAY:
I welcomed the new month with a December poem by Helen Moore. Every year at just this time, in cold and dark December…
MONDAY:
The first thing I did when decorating my home is my mantel. Here is a peek at it in case in you missed it. I made it all about one word: BELIEVE.
Can you see what color scheme I chose for my great room this year?
TUESDAY:
If you use lights in your home as part of your Christmas décor, then I have a tip for you to make those lights illuminate to their fullest potential.
You spend a lot of time decorating so don’t forget the details to make it all shine!
WEDNESDAY:
My DIY chain link garland was super easy and adds a punch to a tree. You can make it rustic and natural, or paint it any color you choose.
THURSDAY:
I bragged about having a daughterwho will come home and make these Christmas cupcakes “just because.”
She has asked that I leave her my Kitchen-Aid in my will. Nice.
Gotta love her.
I also brought out my cinnamon ornament recipe again. I have been making these for 25 years and I never get tired of them.
The kids loved to make them when they were little. Messy hands…but big smiles.
FRIDAY:
We all know how presentation is everything, so don’t forget to “wrap” those gift cards. Here is a quick tutorial on how to create these super simple gift card holders.
Nothing fancy, almost disposable.
But cute nonetheless – and another project for the kids!
I hope you enjoyed what you saw last week!
FAST FORWARD:
Starting tomorrow, we are talking tree, buttons, starlight, a little caprese and a copycat.
Hmmm…
Be inspired,
