Adding Some Spring Style To Vintage Milk Bottles

Hello!

I wanted to show you a quick “springification” ( a word that needs to be added to Webster’s Dictionary in my opinion!) of some vintage milk bottles I’ve had tucked away.

They are pretty old.  You can see the glass has become milky in places.

Yes…the pun was intended.  Smile

I wanted to distract the eye away from the condition of the glass.  They deserve a break – they’ve had a long life.

My solution?

Stamp some wood tags…

…and tie them on with some jute string.

Please don’t be intimidated by the level of difficulty with this DIY.  Just take a deep breath and concentrate.

I have faith.

That’s it!  Now they are ready for their spring debut, milky glass and all.

Perhaps I’ll toss a tulip in one or two.

Be inspired,
