Winter is coming to an end (in home décor world anyway) and it is time to start thinking about the decorating transition.
I have a couple of sets of antler sheds that I like to have on display, as many people do.
Not only do they reflect the area in which I live, they also have beauty within the shape, color and natural grain. They are kind of like snowflakes in a way – so many, yet so different.
And if you are like me, you hate to put them away when spring rolls around. Yes, they are perfect for fall and winter, but what about spring?
Well, first off, deer shed their antlers late winter to early spring so in a way, spring is the perfect time to display them – in honor of the process.
Plus, creating a home is all about using what you love and breaking “the rules” to fit your needs and wants.
So I say, keep them out.
And get creative….
Yep.
Why not?
I think it is a beautiful display.
Especially with a natural boxwood wreath.
The contrast is gorgeous.
But if you are determined to put them in storage until fall rolls around, then keep in mind an autumn wreath would be just as beautiful.
I know…a lot of the same pictures.
Too bad. LOL.
Fall?
Winter?
That was so 2012.
Think green. Think organic.
Bend the rules.

Turning lifetime passion into livelihood. It's about time! I'm Shari. I am a 40-something wife, mother, corporate professional turned design stylist, avid sports fan, and usually exhausted 24/7 keeping up with it all. I love my family, my home, my work...and the chaos that comes with it. I also happen to adore my beagle, Scout.

You know I love antlers and what a cute idea.
Love this idea! You can never go wrong decorating with nature.
I love this with the boxwood wreath!

That is so cool. I think I will go walk in our woods and find me some antlers right now! Or I could just wait for our lab to start dragging them home. Thanks for the great idea!
So perfect. Love the wreath and the antlers are too clever. Pinning.

I am craving green and organic right now! Very pretty Shari!
Such a beautiful idea! I like how you incorporated them with the wreath. Megan
Boxwood is theeee best smell and so hardy!!
What an ingenious idea. Love the boxwood wreath.
Wow, these antler wreaths are such a great idea! I’ve made centerpieces out of antler before but never wreaths like this.
Clever AND functional – I love it!! And who can resist a boxwood wreath? Certainly not I.
