Oh Happy Happy Friday to you all. Now that Labor Day has passed, and all the kiddos are back to school, have you switched gears and started to think about fall and everything you want to get done?
Are we talking simple DIY décor?
Styling your house to autumn perfection?
Creating a bucket list for fun things to do?
Just looking for some down time?
If you are like me, and most others, I’m sure your answer was “all of the above.” It is the perfect time of year and probably the season that triggers the most inspiration in and out of the home.
I’ve gathered a potpourri of “anything autumn” for pure enjoyment and possible inspiration. Some are mine, some are not.
While fall is abundant with color, neutrals are just as stimulating. This porch is proof of that!
Find a wine barrel and personalize it with your monogram! This is mine that is on my porch – my monogram along with the year we were married.
These reclaimed wood pumpkins that Laura at Finding Home made are awesome. She showed them to us as a guest contributor at Infarrantly Creative.
If I can find the time, I am going to make some of these for our upcoming holiday barn sale!
These jumbo dice that I made are all-season, but I made them with the purpose of displaying them in the fall.
I’ve shared some of Gary’s photo with you before. This picture was taken in Welches, Oregon. Stunning!
Uh….okay….how easy – and cute – are these candy corn pumpkins? Fun craft for the kids and great alternative to carving.
So you all know that we love football in our household. So much so that I always implement a football – or two – in my fall decorating.
My mantel, my porch wreath, and on display at my space in Indulge…
Cider? A must.
I’m not a bird person when it comes to everyday décor, but black crows are part of the season and this wreath is beautiful, yet simple.
I need to convince John to build me a mini-barn just so I can do this two months out of the year.
Sounds reasonable, doesn’t it? !!
I would never, ever, eat this cake if I was actually able to create it. I’d figure out a way to preserve it and showcase it year-round.
You can never go wrong using leaves anywhere, in any way. These luminaries are simple to make and perfect for indoors or out…
…and are these animal leaf mosaics not the cutest thing you have ever seen?!!
Again, if I have the time, I’d love to do a few of these and frame them. My mind is spinning with ideas on this one.
I’ve shown you my pumpkin/ghost gourd before. It was hand painted my John’s mom and is my favorite thing to put out for Halloween.
Got chair? Got Blanket? Got Pumpkin?
Decorating is complete.
A fun DIY sign for the home, school function, barn sales, or anywhere!
I’ve done a couple of posts with Design Seed’s color palette creations.
This links you to my last one that is all about Autumn palettes.
And finally….a message to help with the seasonal transition:
So did it work? Did you FALL for it? Are you ready to dive into the season head first?
Good thing the weekend is here!
