Good morning everyone! How was your weekend? Saturday, we worked up at the barn to get ready for the holiday barn sale. Yesterday, a big storm hit us and forced us to work inside – which is a good thing.
There is just something about the first real storm of the season. We love watching it through the windows. But…it is a little early for that still so hopefully our gorgeous Pacific Northwest Indian summer weather will return quickly. I want another four or five weeks of it – and then bring on the stormy days!
You can certainly tell it is fall around here. I mean, when you have turkeys AND crows sharing space in your yard at the same time, how can you not?
Anyway, back to business.
Today I wanted to share a stainless steel cleaning product that I came across not too long ago.
It is a Howard product – and I’ve already told you how I love Howard’s Restor-A-Finish and Wax.
I know everyone is always looking for a better way to clean stainless steel and the latest trend is to use furniture polish.
I’ve tried that and it does work – but I just can’t get over the idea of having furniture polish on surfaces where food is store, prepped and cooked.
Up until now, I have just washed all my SS surfaces with hot, soapy water or used a vinegar/water spray and honestly, those two options work great -
- but I love this product because a) it cleans well and b) it is all natural with a great lemongrass-lime scent.
It is also safe for all “food-handling environments.”
I have no idea how long it has been on the market, but to me, it is “new.”
And I have no affiliation with Howard – I just thought I’d share with you all in case you are looking for something similar.
I also wanted to share a couple items that just came in (out of too many to count) that will be available at the barn sale and in my store at Indulge.
This little guy is hand-carved and oh so cute.
And one of three different breeds that are looking for a new home.
Second, I’m sooo excited to offer these recycled canvas poufs.
They will instantly make you the cool kid on the block.
Well, that’s it for now.
I’ll be spending the day waxing a few furniture pieces, logging inventory and watching the storm.
Have a good one!
