Furniture Debut: Lilypad

Good morning,

I hope you all had a fun weekend.  We are just finishing up spring break as I know many of you are as well.  The rest of the school year will fly by now!

Today I’m showing you a buffet makeover just in time for an Easter celebration.

Buffet Furniture Makeover- American Paint Company - Dollar Bill - Lilypad - Turnstyle Vogu (6)

You can see from the before that while it has good bones the finish was in average condition in some places and bad shape in others…

I kept it simple with this one – just a classic finish with American Paint Company in Dollar Bill and antiquing wax.

The dark wax is subtle, just enough to show aging and wear in the nooks, crannies and corners.

I am loving this color by the way, very soft subtle mint green.  Just like a dollar bill – go figure.

I kept the original bail pull hardware.

I have a thing for bail pulls…

The top was stripped and stained and sealed with Miss Mustard Seed’s hemp oil and then did another protective coat of APC clear wax.

Please ignore the floor of my staging area (we are working on changing some things.)

Simple finishes.  Simple palette.
