Getting Ready…

It is time.

Time for the fall inventory to be unpacked and on the shelves.  I’ve spent the last two days getting the store ready and tomorrow it will start to be fall-i-fied.

Harvest.

Natural woods.

Seasonal scents.

Signage.

Textiles.

And a lot more.

It is a tough job, but somebody has to do it. Right?

Actually, if you would have seen me tonight – you would have thought I had been out in the trenches for 24 hours.  Dirty. Sweaty. Tired.

Just another day at the office I guess.  I’ll share pictures when I’m done (these are all throwbacks from previous retail seasons.)

See ya soon.

Be inspired,

  1. I’m obsessed with the hutch!

  2. JaneEllen says:

What is the greenery you had twined all around the hutch? Love look of that, very pretty and different. Can hardly wait to see new photos of your Fall setup in your store. You must have to work very hard to keep up with a store and family, life in general.
I sure love the pitchers on hutch. Makes me wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my hutch, would have been perfect in Kitchen.
    But regrets don’t change anything.
I’m not quite ready for Fall yet, it’s still pretty hot here (except for this week in low 80’s) yesterday was 98, phewy. I had beach stuff up on walls, etc but took it all down last week, had been up since we painted early summer. Putting bee/honey stuff up now in the interim. Couldn’t think of anything else and like look of it, still summery but not beachy. I get to certain point, if stuff is bugging me then it’s time to put it away. Had some bee things printed out from Graphics Fairy from couple years ago when I found her blog then found more to print out. I have so much fun when I change things, make new things to decorate with. Makes living room look fresh again.
Don’t work too hard, enjoy what’s left of summer if you get a chance. Happy week
